Iran's Deputy Minister of Agricultural Jihad and the Sierra Leonean
ambassador to Tehran have discussed issues of mutual interest.
In their
meeting on Sunday, Ambassador Elari Kel praised Iran's self-sufficiency in
agricultural products and called for utilization by her country of Iran's
expertise and modern technologies in the field of agricultural production and
fisheries, IRNA reported.
She pointed to the capabilities and limitations of
her country in the agriculture and fisheries sectors and called for enhancement
of cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
Peyman Falsafi, on
his part, said that there was a strong political will in Iran to bolster
cooperation with Muslim African countries.
He called for the implementation
of memorandums of understanding between the two countries.
He also called
for the establishment of a bureau by Iran's Ministry of Agricultural Jihad in
Sierra Leone to facilitate the sharing of Iranian expertise in the agriculture
