 Sometimes it is a good thing to leave the city for a while and have a taste
of other areas especially during this hot season. Last weekend, I took a ride to
the border town of Bo Waterside near Sierra Leone and it was quite an experience
for me. There is active trade between Liberians and Sierra Leoneans and a great
deal of peace and harmony existing between the two peoples. A few years ago this
was a 'no-go' area as it was under the command of gun men, but today the picture
is totally different.
