 LIFE’s history in Sierra Leone began mainly because of the increasing number of children left orphaned and without food or clean water. LIFE began by building and rehabilitating schools where education and book distributions took place. The Orphanage currently supports over 200 orphans who are provided with food, shelter, clothing, and proper educational and medical care. Also offered in Sierra Leone are essential vocational and computer literacy training. Water and sanitation has also been a recurring problem in Sierra Leone and LIFE works hard to provide them with a permanent source of clean water. Reviews (0)
