President Ernest Bai Koroma arrived at Conakry’s Gbessia International airport Friday morning at the beginning of a whirlwind tour of Guinea, Liberia and Burkina Faso.

Koroma met Guinean prime minister Lansana Kouyate(photo) a few minutes after 10 a.m and later met with president Conte in the afternoon.

According to Guinee News, a Guinean newspaper,President Koroma held discussions with president Conte and members of the Guinean government.He also met members of the diplomatic corps. Hundreds of Sierra Leoneans in Conakry showed up to welcome Koroma who was dressed in a black suit and red tie.

President Koroma also visited presidents Blaise Compaore of Burkina Faso and Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf of Liberia.
